COLLAGE
Shit gets messy.
Blair uses everything from recycled paper to wall paper. She uses a number of different adhesives during different stages of the process and works the image backwards in layers.
Each piece can take days, weeks or months depending on the size. By the time she finds the paper and the canvas is built, she has to wait for each layer of glue to dry before she can go on to the next step.
Blair works on the floor in a pile of paper so she can map out the work, reach each and every angle, and use the piece of paper stuck to her leg. And the final touch is an SPF sealant to keep the paper safe from the sun.
And Voila!
