Well, you get to wave at lots of Amish people. I don't think Amish people are allowed to ride scooters...But I'm not an Amish expert yet so you can't quote me on that. Strasburg Scooters in Lancaster, PA is only about an hour and a half outside of Philly. It doesn't take long to find green rolling hills and people that make you feel like you went back in time. You can find great deals on their scooter tours. My friends and I did the covered bridge scooter tour. Not only is it crazy fun, but it turned out to be quite meditative too. Covered BridgesEvery single Amish person we passed waved at us with a welcoming hello as we rode through their countryside. Small children came running out to try to get us to beep beep....and we would beep beep. John, our tour guide taught us a lot of amazing history about the old covered bridges...I'll keep it suspenseful and let him tell you. An Amish FarmJohn took us to an Amish farm where we got to meet many Amish animals. There were clothes hanging out to dry, dogs playing in the yard and a kid plowing a field with 4 horses and huge iron plow. Takes way more skill than a video game...
Do it. Do it. Do it.
