Dorthy is another story where she has a few ride-or-die friends who decide to better themselves by facing their fears and going on an adventure. They find bravery, heart and learn to face challenges while finding their way home.
I used to watch this movie over and over as a kid and I'd like to think my kid self was quite esoteric and mysterious by watching such an artistically deep film - but I think I just liked the bright colors and the singing.
Who would have ever thought a lion, a scarecrow, a witch, a tin man and a pair of red shoes could represent every facet of the human journey of the soul.
