Since I started participating in the 25 Days of Minis show I've always incorporated a whale collage. Always two whales, sometimes they seem like partners, sometimes they seem like a mother and child and sometimes they seem like friends. I found this piece meaningful to end another season with as these whales guide us into a new year.
 
The whale spirit animal symbolizes grounding and focus, it encourages you to trust your creative energy and to follow your truth. If you encounter a whale in your life, it's time to look close into yourself and the direction your soul wants to take in life. The Whale will help remove obstacles and create balance and flow in the currents of life.
These whales are also in the Diorama Collection, layered through glass as if the collage lifting from the surface.
